OUR FUNDAMENTAL DOCTRINE

Iron Hill Pentecostal Church believes and teaches that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, that God has given mankind His Word as the sole basis for finding eternal life, and for that reason all doctrine, faith, hope and instruction must be based upon and harmonize with it.

We believe that man fell in the Garden of Eden because of his disobedience to God’s commandments. In order to reconcile himself with God again he must believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only atonement for sin, repent of his evil deeds and forsake his former ways. He is then commanded to be baptized by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Every truly born-again child of God will then live a consistent Christian life in accordance with the Word of God which stipulates, “By their fruits ye shall know them,” and, “Without holiness no man shall see the Lord.” We further believe that Divine healing is a part of the atonement, and that all who believe shall be healed. We also believe that the next major move of God will be the rapture of his church, or Bride, which we feel is imminent.
