About the Author 

J. Michel Wilson is the writer of numerous gospel songs. He is the pastor of the Iron Hill Pentecostal church in Parsons, Tennessee. He and his wife Joyce have three children and three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way. 

Michael is a self-taught keyboardist from a rural community of Bethlehem, in Marshall County, Mississippi, the son of a preacher man, raised with nine siblings. He played professionally with Wilson Brother Quartet and The McGruders. He has four solo recording projects to his credit with consist totally of his own compositions and has played on and produced recording projects for different artist.  

J. Michael Wilson, in addition to his pastoral responsibilities, also accepts numerous invitations to minister in sermon and song in camp meetings, conferences and other special events each year.

Ere the Song Began is his fist published work as an author.
